Although established in recent times, the team at AML Highland Limited have over 85 years of combined experience in all aspects of the building industry.
Alex Macleod
OWNER & DIRECTOR
Alex Macleod is a Lewisman; he moved to Inverness in 1980 to work with Morrison's of Tain (as they were known at the time). Following this, he worked with Rimmon Construction and then freelanced as an Architectural Designer. In more recent years, he was responsible for forming a successful Small Works Division at Tulloch Construction.
AML Highland Limited was formed in 2010. Since then, Alex has steadily grown the business whilst building an ever-growing client portfolio across the North of Scotland.

Garry Macleod
DIRECTOR
Garry’s career started as a Building Technician with Tulloch Construction at the age of sixteen. After obtaining a degree in Construction Design & Management, he oversaw Insurance Repair works within domestic properties before undertaking validation surveys for various insurers as a self-employed Loss Adjuster. With over 22 years of experience in the industry, Garry is now responsible for the Insurance Reinstatement projects at AML Highland Limited.

Kyle Macleod
BUILDING SURVEYOR
Kyle joined the team in 2016 after being brought up surrounded by his father and older brother’s years of trade experiences. His approachable nature and personable character derive from previous experiences working in customer service. Nowadays, Kyle coordinates the day-to-day Insurance Reinstatement and Maintenance work. He is dedicated to implementing a cost-effective and efficient service for our ever-growing client base throughout the North of Scotland.

Isla (Macleod) McBey
DESIGN CONSULTANT
With an honours degree in Interior Architecture and now over 15 years of industry experience, Isla has designed spaces of all sizes; from schools to kitchens and even sunrooms. Nevertheless, her favourite challenge is to creatively capture the heart of a home with practical alterations that are tailored to the specific goals of our clients. Isla also has an invaluable firsthand understanding of adapting spaces to the ever-changing circumstances with a large family of her own.
